For Virtual Learning Classes, trainings will be conducted on Microsoft Teams platform, thus webcam and microphone are compulsory.
For participants who are interested to understand about detecting telecommunications cables, telecommunication Licensee's Earthworks Requirements and who would like to be licensed as TCDW by IMDA

Legislations on Telecommunication Act and Cable Detection Workers
Definition of earthworks
Licensee's Earthworks Requirements
Trial pits
Identification of telecommunication manholes
Cable detection report
Case studies on cable damages
Cable detection techniques
Permit to work and Risk Assessment
Practical handling of cable locator
Minimum Qualifications
ITE's Industrial Technical Certificate, ITE's National Technical Certificate Grade 2, at least 3 'O' Levels Passes, Certificate in Pavement Construction Course, National Certificate in Construction Supervision Course, Nitec & Higher Nitec certificate issued by ITE, at least 3 GCE 'N' level Passes or such other educational qualifications as may be accepted by IMDA. At least one-year practical experience in building construction, building services, civil engineering or structural engineering construction

Only participants who have successfully completed this course can apply for the Telecommunication Cable Detection Worker's License (TCDW) (subject to approval by IMDA).

*GST are based on full course fees, before SSG funding.
**Singaporeans and Permanent Residents have to meet the following conditions to be eligible for SSG fund. Participant failing to meet any of the conditions must pay the full course fees to Cambrian Academy.
